Sadly, Minnesota has another crazy candidate for Congress.
He is Bachmann's mentor, Allen Quist. They have been making mischief together for years. Mother Jones has an excellent article about him.
"He believes dinosaurs coexisted with man; women are "genetically predisposed" to subservience.
"Quist slammed a gay counseling clinic at Mankato State University by comparing it to the Ku Klux Klan."
Quist and Bachmann worked together in the 1990's against MN's new education program, Profiles of Learning, calling it " a step toward a United Nations takeover of Minnesota. International Baccalaureate, the global Advanced Placement program, was brainwashing by another name. .. Schools would be breeding grounds for "homosexual indoctrination." Even math was under assault by the forces of moral relativism." Bachmann derided the focus of the program, using a student's career goal as both motivation and choosing courses to reach that goal. She falsely claimed all study of the Constitution and American history had ceased, and a student with the goal of becoming an auto mechanic instead learned only the history of cars. Yes, she was crazy before you ever heard of her.

Civil rights, women's rights, should NEVER be up for a vote. How about writing that fucking law. If we take control of the house, they should pass a law that never let's assholes like this run for ANY office. And we need tests to run for office. If you ain't the brightest bulb, you should be disqualified. Tests for cops, nurses, lawyers, why not officials too. I'm tired of dummies being able to run for office.
