(82,849 posts)You get the impression that Mitt is just mailing it in? He can't be bothered to remember what he said just three months ago. Is that really what we want in a president? Because you can bet that other world leaders are going to remember what the president told them, and this garbanzo could promise the moon and the stars in February, and forget all about it by May. How is that going to work, foreign relations-wise?

ssshhh we all know that but we aren't supposed to say it
Everyone knows that because of money an election is an 8 year term and they know damn well that Mitt is not the guy. In order to take the Senate they have to keep that Mass Senate seat and Mitt is the only option they have -- mind you this is befor Elizabeth Warren was the nominee.
The whole debate process was PR for Newt and Cain and they ended up looking horrible.

(21,925 posts)Romney knows he even flips within his flops. He's got to say this catch-all phrase because he knows he's taken every position on every issue and can't remember what position he took before, only that it was "whatever".
