Woot! Woot! The DOL is taking my claim!

In May, I filed a complaint against my then employer on the grounds of unfair labor practices, namely, expecting its employees to work off the clock and be happy they have a job, ie, wage theft. It's pathetic that it's impossible to get your coworkers to come along. We all talk among ourselves about working evenings and on weekends, but their attitude is that of one who has Corporate Stockholm Syndrome and they side with the abuser.

Anyway, the DOL wrote me stating they'll be conducting an audit of this company.

We did that one time and they only gave us minimum wage rate to make up the difference, which was better than nothing I guess. I hope your claim turns out better.
