Talbot Confederate Monument's Days May be Numbered (MD)

The group does not believe the monument should be destroyed or melted down, rather moved to a cemetery in Easton, standing alongside the graves of those who served on the confederate side of the civil war ...

Bishop Joel Johnson says the confederate statue does not belong on the grounds where a slave market once stood.

"There's absolutely no balance between that slave market just a few feet away from this statue. It's unfortunate and it is tragic" ...
