Wasn't he born to two U.S. citizens in Panama? That makes him the opposite of an anchor baby.

McCain is a Congressionally-mandated (rather than Constitutionally-mandated) US Citizen. I was simply trying to complicate things.

6. Hey, is it necessary to use Jindal's birth name?

He goes by Bobby, and we should be better than repukes who keep using names an individual no longer goes by. How are we to have the moral high ground concerning Chelsea Manning, Barack Obama et al if we stoop to their level?

I am a high school teacher, and I always try to respect my students' choice of name. Their birth name was given them before they were aware, and some hate theirs and prefer nicknames, or differently gendered names, yet they are too young to change them themselves. To respect individual choice is a core democratic principle, and I try to follow it.

to end birthright citizenship for children of ILLEGAL immigrants. His parents both had green cards, so it wouldn't apply to him, by that logic.

I don't know how to embed a tweet here.
