GOP Would Support Universal Health Care If Only Whites Got It.

The real and brutal truth about GOPPERS opposition to universal health care and domestic programs in general is that minorities or people of color get it. If they were excluded GOPPERS would like support such programs.

It is true that the right wingers resent black people "getting something for nothing" more than they resent white people doing the same thing. The interesting thing is how quickly they will turn their attention to the "next in line" when the usual scapegoats are not available.

as much as they hate everyone else.

Whites will call each other "trash" due to class differences.

When Romney ran for President. There was this woman interviewed on TV. Orange County, California, filthy-rich, Old Money, white, 50+ years old.
And she parroted rabid Tea Party talking-points because she knew this rabble would get Romney elected.

Or when Romney toured the Iowa State Fair and had to eat the obligatory corn-dog... so he ate it by half and then carried the half-eaten sausage-on-a-stick around so all photographers would see it. If you have to parade your authenticity, you aren't authentic.

Are you really claiming that the GOP was pro-labor in the large majority white 1930s?

is handed to them on their so called White Papers. The GOP after Nixon established his Southern Strategies, has a will use Racial Divide and Working Class Division to conquer their opponents know matter what issue is or will be. If you follow what has happened in Wisconsin, that is a text book example of today's Republican Governmental Operations in real time. When you see articles or Op-Ed pieces from mega wealthy persons condemning this type of Policies,we are seeing in Real Time what happens when controlling interests are finally being challenged.

This is the Democrats opportunity to really make a difference and it has to be with candidates that are not retreaded Tea Billies or other types.

Then the middle and wealthy classes, who don't want or need the assistance, can check on their tax return that they want the value of their benefits applied to their tax bill, or donated to disaster aid. Everyone would be eligible for the subsidy, but only those who need-to would use it.

I also think we should have check boxes on our taxes to direct our tax money to programs for the poor, to national defense, to paying off the debt, and so on. I suspect the totals taken-in for each category would be similar to what we pay out now, and it would take away everyone's crazy uncle's rant that "I don't want my tax dollars going to freeloaders." Well, under this plan, he can check that he wants his taxes going to defense, and take pride in knowing that he's buying a few gallons of drone fuel, rather than feeding the poor. YeeHaw!
