Ashley Madison client list includes Louisiana GOP executive director; he says it was for research.

Louisiana GOP executive director Jason Doré said Thursday that his name is on a list of accounts released as part of the Ashley Madison cheating website hack because the site was used for "opposition research."

The director of the statewide Republican Party said via text message that an account was created under his name and his former personal credit card billing address in connection with the work of his law firm, Doré Jeansonne. He declined to say who he was using the account for.

"As the state's leading opposition research firm, our law office routinely searches public records, online databases and websites of all types to provide clients with comprehensive reports," Doré said via text message. "Our utilization of this site was for standard opposition research. Unfortunately, it ended up being a waste of money and time."

The database shows Doré spent $175.98 on the site, which he signed up for in 2013.

Ashley Madison, the site known for connecting people looking to cheat on their spouses, was targeted by hackers and the data of millions of account holders was released Thursday.

The Louisiana GOP has been outspoken about issues connected to infidelity in the past, having asked former U.S. Rep. Vance McAllister to resign his 5th District congressional seat last year after he was caught on camera kissing a married staffer.

GOP Chairman Roger Villere Jr. did not respond to a request for comment.

I had heard that my ex had joined and had spent a pretty penny joining-while not being able to afford his child support, of course. I tried joining, thinking that I might find him on there and then confront him with that information.

Supposedly I do have an account but all I remember is them asking for more information, mainly cc information. Oh, and I never did find him on there. I did find him on OK Cupid, Match.com, PlentyofFish and Christian Mingle. Of course he did neglect to put on the other sites that he might or might not be married. (I can't even keep it all straight anymore.)

I just need to see what those sinful, nasty, naked people are doing to undermine the moral structure of our Christian nation. Of course, I limit my viewing to 10 or 12 hours a day, reserving the balance of my time for sleep and masturbation, not necessarily in that order.

hundreds of times.

They wanted to be really sure.

Uh huh.

EDIT:

Oh, and "waste of money and time" means he couldn't get enough women on the site to agree to have sex with him.

wouldn't it be a billable expense and there would be some corroboration to be found in the invoicing? I'm SURE this is just a BIG misunderstanding.

Instead they "experimented" with marijuana like Newt Gingrich had a lab in the basement of his dorm, doing scientific work no the properties of cannabis.

I like people being exposed, especially when it comes to those ones blaming gay people for this and that. They are hypocrites. I do have a problem with personal information being posted.

That said, I wasn't aware of the site before this. I don't judge people like that. I have my own happy marriage. I would rather hackers concentrate on things which affect all of us.
