Want water? Dig a hole. (per Fiorina campaign)

On MSNBC -- Chris Hayes interviewed someone from the Fiorina campaign, and asked about the candidate's take on climate change. The woman said, in the course of her rather odd response, that the California drought was caused, not by climate change, but by liberals who didn’t build reservoirs.

And here we’d been thinking that lack of precipitation was the culprit.

for a certain percentage of our rural residents, some urban too.

It is a small, rather "libertarian", I use that in quotation marks, crew that usually blames liberals for the sun rising in the East. I wish I were kidding.

Attending some debates in the back country you will actually hear candidates talk about Plan 21, black helicopters, Chinese troops, and yes, liberals ruining everything. Take my word on this... her statements were actually pretty mild.

Millions (or is it billions?) of gallons of water squandered daily to wash Pacific smelt out to sea, millions of 'illegals' sucking up California's water and other resources, and a magic bullet train costing every penny needed to build desal plants.
