Just how stupid is Bill O'Reilly?
Not only is he clueless about what makes tides, and he is fond of making stuff up about his past record, he pulls this.
Bill O’Reilly says all mass murderers in US history were atheists/agnostics, including “Jehovah told me to act” shooter.

A man claiming Jehovah told him to act before killing a pair of reporters on TV and filming the murders. Bill O’Reilly has examined this situation and come away with a conclusion: only atheists/agnostics commit murder:
O’Reilly welcomed to his show psychotherapist Karen Ruskin to discuss the issue of mental health and spirituality as the cause of the shooting deaths in Virginia. “Outside of the Jihadist, can you point to one mass murder recently in this country that had a religious base philosophy?” O’Reilly asked. As Ruskin was attempting to answer, O’Reilly cut her off, saying “You can’t point to any.” The popular host continued, claiming that over the last 40 years, only secular atheists and agnostics have committed murders.
“Every single murderer over 40 years that I have covered in these circumstances has been either atheistic, agnostic, no religious basis at all.”
O’Reilly continued, claiming that Americans were “tending away” from religion and spirituality, which has resulted in the rise of shootings like what happened in Virginia. “When you combine that with a mental illness, you have what you had in Virginia yesterday.”
