Police chief receives KKK flyer, Confederate flag (NC)

... Harold Medlock works as police chief in Fayetteville.

He said he found a KKK recruiting flyer in his yard Wednesday morning accompanied by a Confederate flag.

He said only some of his neighbors got the flyer, including a bi-racial couple and an African-American woman ...

Medlock asked officers to get fingerprints from the plastic bag and papers to identify the person responsible.

I doubt he or anyone else was a specific target. My town gets these flyers on doorsteps about twice a year. Sometimes with bags of candy attached. At this point people just roll their eyes and toss them in the garbage.
