So gas prices are at their lowest level in 11 years

Just heard that on ABC. Blame that Socialist, Muslim Kenyan Communist. Unemployment is also at it's lowest since April 2008.

9. I can tell that inflation is quite low

by how I budget my money.

I take out a specific sum of money every Monday, divide it into envelopes marked: Gas, Health & Well Being, Entertainment, Clothing, and Miscellaneous. What doesn't go into the envelopes stays in my wallet and pays for groceries and walking around money. I have not had to adjust those amounts in nearly three years.

Lucky me, I do have enough of a reserve that I can take out extra money on occasion, but those categories pretty much cover everything for me.

I do have a credit card for various larger purchases.

They were below $2 in January, and also back in 2009. ow about 2.15. It is not bad, but not earth shattering either. Maybe oil is cheap, but the refiners are gouging.

Cheapest gas today is $1.99

I can recall it being around $3.20 less than a year ago. Maybe they're talking about by the barrel crude prices?
