Elizabeth Warren will campaign for Russ Feingold in Madison next month

U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren will bring her progressive bona fides to Madison next month on behalf of Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Russ Feingold, a Warren campaign email told her supporters today.

Feingold's campaign hopes a stop from Warren, the Massachusetts senator beloved by the Democratic Party's progressive base, will fire up his Wisconsin supporters. Details of the event, including a time, date and place, have yet to be announced.

The Warren email says her Madison visit will be the first stop on her tour to campaign for Democratic U.S. Senate candidates across the country.

Feingold, of Middleton, is challenging first-term Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Oshkosh, in Wisconsin's 2016 U.S. Senate race. It's a rematch of six years ago, when Johnson, a wealthy businessman and political newcomer, ousted Feingold, who served three terms in the Senate....................

I feel a little sad about no longer living in Wisconsin is that I can't vote for Russ Feingold again.
