I went into it realizing it was not going to be what we're used to (it is a late night talk show, after all), but I was happy to see bits of the Colbert we fans all know here and there. He didn't go full strike on Jeb, but he did throw a little jab or two, particularly asking him about being different from his brother.
I think with time, it will be good. And if it's true that Jon Stewart is an executive producer...I have a feeling it's only going to get better.
