Looks like Apple dropped a turd with the new iPad

The stock is dropping after it was introduced with an $800 price tag.

1. The stock tends to drop after the announcement of a new product, it's the "buy on rumor

sell on news" principle.

2. and that is for a 32 gig model. The keyboard is about 170. Except for gadget freaks, why would

a business buy this over a small laptop?

They are showing the Apple TV. I thought they were going to try and offer some type of TV streaming service, but it is mostly blah. Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu will be supported, but will have nothing to worry about having Apple as a competitor.

So far I am underwhelmed.

In fairness, there is only so much you can put in these gadgets

3. Still no mouse ability and no possibily of being a desktop....

Replacement.

I like the microsoft surface as a convertable.

More sure than ever that my Surface was the right choice for a tablet.

5. I love my iPad 2 Air.

It's a good size and I wouldn't want anything bigger.
