Using 9-11 to sell pillows

I didn't hear this today, but all the memorializing made me think of it.

I hear commercials all the time on RW radio for MyPillow, whatever that is. One of the ads has the founder touting its merits. A cheery guy, very jive, no big deal, it's a commercial. But one of the things he says is something like "I've never had such a good night sleep since Sept. 11, 2001". Meaning, that tragedy upset him greatly, causing him to lose sleep. But now with MyPillow, everything is ok.

Has anyone ever heard this, or anything equally crass?

Many sell tee shirts with deceased names on them as memorials. Creepy and I'd never buy one.

Guy selling some junk on a table, "Genuine Wreckage From WTC," a big guy sees the display, in the last panel the jerk has his junk and the table crammed up his ass in the ER.

I usually hear them being endorsed by one of the radio station's on-air people. I don't listen to right wing radio, but locally, the ads are on two sports station and one news/talk that leans more left than right.

(They are great pillows by the way. They are not cheap, but worth the money.)
