We Americans could have a social infrastructure similar to Europe if it were not for well certain parts of North America holding the rest of us back.

America needs to stop pandering to the lowest common denominator and just move forward, they don't want to come, to bad they can sit and home and pout.

it is by definition how I chose to define liberty.

Back in the day 1/3 of the people supported the crown, 1/3 supported independence and 1/3 did not care either way. I would say if we had the same situation today with a King and all things would fall out pretty much the same.
