One Alabama city is now considering banning mini-skirts and short shorts

After first proposing an ordinance banning saggy pants, the Dadeville City Council is now considering banning short shorts and mini-skirts.

Dadeville City Councilwoman Stephanie Kelley said it shouldn't just be men who are singled out on their attire.

"My concern is it should be for everybody," Kelley said during Tuesday's council meeting, the Alex City Outlook reported. "I think for the girls, with these shorts up so high looking like under garments and dresses so short, I don't want us to be showing favoritism."

Do women also now have to wear veils there, too, or are they saving that for next week's ordinance?

enquired whether the school board was composed of idiots, or crazy people.

while I find the sagging thing unappealing (to say the least), I find myself deciding each time I spot such, whether to laugh, to enquire whether they realized they hadn't finished dressing, asking them how they could walk with the crotch around their knees, or simply ignoring them. generally it is the last one, since I believe that at least some do it for attention.

It's not for everybody, but I've never seen a person's backside skin. Only brand new boxer underpants are shown. What's wrong with that? It may not be everyone's idea of fashion. but, nonetheless, it is fashion.

Leave people's clothing preferences alone. Jeez!
