The presidential election should be a run away for the Dems no matter who is the head of the ticket. And if the polls about a Trump Clinton race being a close call are true then we really are friggin out of our minds nationally. It is a given that ANY GOPPER will destroy this country. A GOPPER being president is suicide for good ole USA.
We will not recover from Reagan or Bush for years to come.

(19,979 posts)An electorate that would RE-elect Bush/Cheney after their disastrous first term, then turn both houses of Congress over to Republicans after all their wars, Great Recession, obstructionism, gerrymandering, and voter suppression is an electorate in bad shape. I'd call it political incompetence. Or maybe an apocalyptic death wish.
