Thanks again MIRT

after getting two unsolicited messages in my inbox that were insulting, I was alerting on the last one and when I went to advise the poster I alerted it said cannot complete as user has been removed by MIRT. The account seems to be under review as they just got hide number 5.

Thanks again MIRT, great work!

There's at least one poster here that sends a tacky/nasty PM after getting a time out. hobbit709 Sep 2015 #5

If we didn't have it, we would be literally overrun with trolls, spammers and other unpleasant sorts.

I've served a couple of times, and it is interesting to see how things work behind the scenes.

I wished I had devoted time to understand this more. I'm glad it's there. You must have to have time commitments to do that stuff.

There aren't any hard and fast rules about how much time you "should" be there. I used to feel guilty when I wasn't there, but then I realized that nobody could be there all the time.

So I settled down and worked when I could. And it was all good.

Try a term sometime. You won't be sorry, and you'll learn a lot about the work that keeps DU relatively clean.
