I just saw this article. Seems like a dumb idea to me. Most national parks are pretty big, and I'm failing to see the harm in allowing cigarettes.

I understand that smoking has fire risk, which can be a concern out west, and hopefully smokers will carry their butts out with them if they do smoke, but what is the harm in Ecigs? I guess the good news is this is almost unenforceable, so most people probably wont care.

i'll take the e-cigs any day as a person getting exposed to it
specially in a forest environment...less fire hazard from butts tossed
and less risk to animals from (nicotine in one filter kills quite a few animals)
