He also managed to stand out by stretching his arms a bit to take up more room than his fellow candidates.

Jeb Bush found a surefire way to put himself a head above the other candidates during Wednesday night's debate - standing on his tiptoes.

As the Republican hopefuls lined up for their group shot, the 6'3" Bush was caught on video glancing at Trump and then sneakily pushing himself up to add a few inches.

The trick made Bush - already the tallest person in the group shot - stand out just a little bit more from the other candidates.

He looked like he was wearing Frankenstein's monster shoes. Of course he has a cover story ready to explain why he wore motorcycle boots to a Presidential primary debate, but I assume that once Walker found out he would be standing next to Bush, he came up with a reason to wear the tallest heeled shoes he could find. Focus group results probably showed that he looked small in the first debate.

Walker dressed conservatively in a navy suit for the debate, but also sported a pair of Harley boots.

"I figured tonight it'd be kind of fun to be pumped up a little bit, rev me up a little bit, have some fun with that," Walker said afterward of his decision to wear motorcycle boots.

The 6-foot-3-inch tall Jeb Bush inexplicably stood on his tiptoes for a group photo op before Wednesday night's Republican presidential primary debate.

So Fox News' Bill Hemmer tried to get to the bottom of it when he debriefed with the former Florida governor Thursday morning on "America's Newsroom."

"Were you looking for someone?" Hemmer asked. "Or were you looking to be a little taller than the guy there at your right?"

Bush stood next to his chief rival, Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump, in the photo. But he insisted that he just made himself taller to catch his wife's eye out in the audience.

"I was looking over to the press to see where my wife was sitting because she's the love of my life and just I need to have eye contact with her before we started," Bush explained. "You've been married 42 years that's the kind of thing you do."

Take a look at that darting sideways glance Jeb! shoots at Trump, immediately before he rises on his 8th grade tippy toes. He looks EXACTLY like W.
