Draft Biden Official overheard on train

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/424209/joe-biden-josh-alcorn

When Josh Alcorn joined the Draft Biden super PAC, MSNBC headlined its story on the move “Draft Biden just got real.” Alcorn had been finance director and senior adviser to the late Beau Biden, the vice president’s son, and had worked as finance director for Harry Reid as well. Judging from phone conversations Alcorn had on an Amtrak train from New York to Wilmington yesterday, the Biden campaign is about to get still more real. Another passenger said that Alcorn was being loud enough in the café car to make it hard to work. He said that Alcorn had said on one call, “I am 100 percent that Joe is in.

He was less certain of when Biden would announce, but guessed it would be in mid-October. Alcorn’s own plans to travel to California in early October would have to be canceled if Biden announced earlier. The other passenger said that Alcorn said that test ads were doing well in converting Hillary Clinton supporters to Biden supporters, and that money had been lined up to come in right before the announcement. He had just had breakfast with Jim Torrey, an Obama bundler, whom he described as wanting to be “the Penny Pritzker” of the Biden campaign. Pritzker was the national finance chair of Obama’s 2008 campaign and is now the Secretary of Commerce.

all the good things the Obama Administration accomplished. He doesn't have to differentiate himself from Obama like the others do. He can run with "let's keep this ball rolling." and add his own special interests to it. He's kind and warm and could run circles around any republican with foreign policy.

he's on his way. Just heard on Msnbc that if he does well in the first primaries Obama might step up and endorse him.

Just getting concerned that Hillary is not going to get us a win and that the piling on will get worse. Everyone likes Biden. He matches her with Foreign Policy experience. I'd rather a woman win but considering the stakes Biden seems like a way forward.

I had one such friend comment "can't we have Obama for one more term while they find better candidates?"

Joe could fill that role.

The guy could just be trying to get donations into his PAC.

Also, the source is anonymous.

I think it is still unknown, but I also think it would be hard for a sitting VP for an administration that has been this successful to sit it out.

I might have supported him as I really do like him. He still has some of the same problems as Clinton on votes in the Senate though. He's been a great VP, but I'm going to stick with Sanders.

the resolution which he says DID NOT actually give Bush a green light. I have heard Hillary say that too - that lying sack of shit Bush PROMISED he wouldn't rush in and would only as a last resort. So the failure was believing Dimson. Which none of US did. Course Hillary had Bill believing the same thing about WMD too. Might have been hard to go against your own husband, who was president and should have known the truth.
