GE moves 500 jobs overseas due to GOP Ex/Im bank closure

http://www.wsj.com/articles/general-electric-says-to-move-500-u-s-jobs-overseas-due-to-ex-im-bank-closure-1442322192

Paywalled; sorry. To summarize: a coalition of mostly Republicans and a few Democrats shut down the Export-Import Bank. Ex-Im is a New Deal program that offers loans to US businesses selling goods or services overseas, who cannot get fair lending rates in their host countries. It receives no taxpayer money. Every country in the world (except us now) has a similar bank, and many receive public subsidies.

Because Ex-Im can't lend to them, GE is moving 500 jobs to Europe to qualify for local lending.

I also want to shame a small group of Democrats who fell for the GOP propaganda against this program.
