No Worry Scott Walker Has A Safe Seat As Governor. The Fools Will Keep Electing Him.

Walker will probably survive as governor. And the state legislature will stay GOP. Too many fools will keep them in because they so hate government employees, which is what the GOP has run on smashing its government workers and unions.

The presidential candidate says he was never targeted, but a new court filing shows he was named in a search warrant over political corruption in 2011.

Here’s a fun little pre-debate news dump: Scott Walker was named in a criminal investigation in 2011.

According to a new court filing, first reported by WisPolitics, Walker was named in a secret John Doe probe that investigated his staff at the Milwaukee County Executive’s office.

Walker was never charged with a crime, and he always maintained that the investigations didn’t target him. But these new filings indicate that he was, in fact, a target.

The court filing came in response to a civil suit leveled by Cindy Archer, a former Walker aide and one of the targets of the investigation. The filing shows that investigator Robert Stelter, in a request for a warrant as part of the secret probe, wrote that “there is probable cause to believe that Scott Walker ... committed a felony.”

into a third-world hellhole, since his motivation for doing so in the first place was to curry the favor of the Koch brothers so they'd finance his presidential campaign. I'm sure the Kochs have diverted the gravy train onto another track by now, so Wanker has nothing left to do but be Governor of Wisconsin. But being Governor of Wisconsin was only a stepping-stone to the presidency, not a career goal. My guess is that when his term is up he'll get a job as a lobbyist.

Rebecca Kleefisch has only held 1 elected office, Lt gov of Wisconsin. SHe scout businesses for the WEDC. The WEDC is about to explode due to an ever growing scrutiny of their failings and millions in tax breaks and unrecoverable loans.

A lot of us are doing everything we can to drag Wisconsin to a progressive future.
The teahadists are losing popularity despite still being very vocal.
WEDC scandal is just starting, this one looks to be direct documented Quid pro Quo.

Wiley, his campaign manager, had put on 90 full time employees and was blasting through cash faster than it was coming in. The big money donors were ticked off and started circulating a rumor that Wiley was caught in a compromising situation in an attempt to get him fired. Looks like that may have worked a bit too well.

Having been shown for the numbskull he truly is, I would expect that the power in WIGOP will attempt to unseat him.

I'll go on the record as expecting a play at the governorship by Robin Vos, or Scott Fitzgerald. And you could be correct about the R's winning another term...the WIdems are without shining stars, but then they are also 3 years away from putting anyone forward.

Rebecca Kleefisch is the one they're grooming to be the Republican choice three years down the road. She's currently the Lt. Governor of WI.
