(17,862 posts)$49/yr. Definitely get that value for it. They have a larger selection of offbeat streaming stuff that Netflix does not have. Also when both daughters are streaming Netflix can use to stream some of the duplicate shows. I also like Prime Music (I know lots of places to get music but I like the Playlists and Station). Also get one free Kindle book per month (it is a fiction book and I have enjoyed trying out different authors).

(28,314 posts)it is worth every penny. Life is too short and there is too much beautiful country out there to spend my time in box stores picking up cat food, toilet paper and Cliff Bars.

(60,010 posts)What might tip the balance is getting stuff like 35# of good dry dog food which is a problem for me to lift and carry when I go out shopping.
We are pretty rural and have limited access to a lot of things that I would normally buy in Mobile or Pensacola......not worth the 2 hour drive.
Plus, we have a 10% sales tax on everything except prescriptions!
I could have saved 12.00 on our last grocery run.
