The dark cloud looms.
Cloud cover and the blood moon tonight. It looks like we aren't going to be able to see the blood moon. Holding out hope.
My mother-in-law have a running joke about how we continually can't see major astronomical events due to bad weather. Both of us would lose sleep to see meteor storms, eclipses, and the like. There was a blue moon when we were at Myrtle Beach. We talked about it all day. No see - cloud cover.
By the way I'm pretty pissed at the Mormons. They had some end-of-times conspiracy thing this week. Blood moon-Pope-Equinox-Yom Kippur-etc. Didn't happen. I skipped on both dry cleaning and hot yoga. I mean, WHY? Right? Now I'm fat, nothing to wear, and waaaay over bought on ripe fruit. Thanks Mormons

God has often used the heavens for sending signs to mankind, Baxter says. He quotes Genesis, in which God says there should be lights in heaven and says of those lights: Let them be for signs.
Baxter also points out that three wise men were led to the birthplace of the baby Jesus by star a sign in the sky. He adds: There are several prophecies foretelling that the moon will be turned to blood in the endtime.

(34,661 posts)Beam me up Scotty. Just another Joe Myth pipe dream. One Grocery Manager told me yesterday that September was the largest dollar sales in History with all the Mormons stocking up for the big event. Should be several thousand empty houses cheap in Utah and Idaho.

(718 posts)I can say with certainty that Mormons are mostly clueless and ignorant about what is going on in the World and how it affects us all.
