We didnt have the room to do a quarter-mile run, but Tesla says the Model X P90D will do it in 11.7 seconds. That put its alongside cars like the BMW M5, Corvette Z06, and Porsche Panamera Turbo. Top speed is limited to 155 mph.

The comparison is to an old 1972 kawasaki 350 triple, my first motorcycle
<snip>
The factory-claimed figure of 13.6 seconds for the quarter-mile has been equaled or beaten a number of times by experienced (and light-weight) drag racers on stock S2s (350 triples) under ideal conditions.
Top speed just after starting was 110 mph, which dropped to 100 after a few laps.

Actually, the bike would do 0 to 95/100 mph (depending on conditions) in a 1/8 mile. It was crazy quick, you top ended at 110 mph well before the quarter mile. I know, been there, done that...
