I don't know who to hope wins. Scalise describes himself as "David Duke without the baggage," but if Gowdy gets it the Benghaaazi hisses from the far right that have died down may pick up again. He's likely the inspiration for that Alpha House character who wanted to create a permanent Benghazi commission.
