I fully expect to see the House reinstate dueling or the Hunger Games as a potential way to become speaker.

Make it pay per view we could make a fortune watching these idiots spill each others guts on the floor.

He really shouldn't have gotten this high up in politics because he's not able to do any job he's had handed to him. His "political career" has been a farce that only shows how deeply corrupted our system has become. It was a matter of time for him to become exposed for the empty suit that he is. I'm happy it came before he became third in line for the presidency.

throw all the support you can behind him. I know it's almost a Sysiphian task, but you need to do it.

I always thought that organizing hispanic voters here was important, but as a non-hispanic that's not something I can do. So it's nice to see GOP candidates doing so much to mobilize hispaic voters. One day our red area will turn as blue as the rest of our state.

from the farm workers in the area and I believe they outnumber the white population although I would have to do some research to verify that. Mostly, they don't vote. You need a crossover candidate, one that looks fairly white but who speaks both Spanish and English like a native. The rednecks in your area won't vote for anyone who looks like a Mexican no matter how American he really is. I know it's disgusting but the sad truth. The Hispanics don't vote because they get thrown an Anglo like Kevin McCarthy, whom they know doesn't give a shit about them. But anyone who can galvanize both populations will unseat McCarthy with no problems. So far he's had a free ride and it's time to take the car keys away. You need the white votes for the campaign funds and the Hispanics for the voting numbers. Loretta Sanchez accomplished it in very red, right wing Orange County. You can do it too.

for each other as a couple, preferably in Canada, not here. I doubt if Canadians would have elected either of them into office. Instead they would have opened a little road house, with Kevin dishing up his deli sandwiches and Sarah bartending, regaling her customers with her homey wit and wisdom. Their children would have been given classes in remedial English. All would have been good.

I could see it all over his face, as he was bragging to Morning Joe about
how clever the House GOP wing-nut caucus was being 'taking down' Clinton.

This quote:

"Kevin McCarthy, dropped out of the race in a surprise that raised concerns about the party's ability to govern effectively."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

"The party's ability to govern effectively...." concerns have been raised since the 1980's....definately in the 2000's and has merely expanded till today and beyond.

A surprise???? Who are they kidding?
