Your Daily School shooting: Northern Arizona University 1 dead, 3 wounded

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — A shooting at Northern Arizona University Friday morning that killed one and hurt three others was the result of a fight between two groups of students, Gregory T. Fowler, the school's police chief, said.

The gunman is in custody and the campus is not on lockdown, the school said in a tweet. The university alerted students about 1:20 a.m. local time -- 5:20 a.m. ET -- of a reported shooting at the campus in Flagstaff, telling them to stay indoors.
