Westboro Baptist Church protests weather science, homosexuality at Oklahoma National Weather Center

The Westboro Baptist Church made an appearance this morning at Norman's National Weather Center to protest weather science, meteorology and homosexuality.

The protest consisted mostly of popular music rewritten to express or negate specific opinions, picket signs and vulgar yelling in general.

On its release, the church said that the theme of this protest would be about its stance on meteorology and the science of weather in relation to God's will. However, the majority of the songs, hymns and chants were anti-homosexual in nature rather than anti-meteorology.

Apparently meteorology is now sinful. You can't make this shit up.

Have you seen the things that go into those hurricanes?," she asked. “They're amazing, and they're all gifts from God. And instead of giving him the glory, every reporter who puts their mouth to the discussion gives the credit to that false goddess mother nature.”
