BREAKING: Cookie-making elves living in tree trunk in Ted Cruz's yard throw support behind Carson

DALLAS, TX: The workforce of 48 cookie-making elves living in a tree trunk in Ted Cruz's yard announced Wednesday that they were planning to endorse Dr. Ben Carson as the Republican candidate for President in 2016. "He thinks like we think," said Toby, lead elf on the night shift.
When asked for his response, Dr. Ben Carson stated "I'd rather see a tree full of bullet-riddled, cookie making elves than...er, I'm sorry, what was the question?"
Ted Cruz did not respond to our request for a statement on this matter.
