Never, no one on TV, radio, or any public media has aver asked them about the infamous "Bin Ladin Memo" warning about an attack on the United States. None of them has ever had to answer a single question about it.
That is no mistake, it is on purpose. Most of the country does not know it even exists. (you had better believe knowledgeable Republicans know, and keep it quiet on purpose.) Maybe, now is the time for all the people in the U.S.A to get "in on it." Yes, the memo was disclosed, but in a short one day or one week period, then left alone. Benghazi has gotten a thousand times the publicity..or maybe ten thousand times the coverage as the .."MEMO"
If by some weird chance, (just a thought) Bush had been a Democrat, that memo would have been better known than Benghazi, and he would have been impeached and thrown out of office once some committee had got a hold of it.

(25,296 posts)and nothing about the 'he kept us safe' comment of Jeb's. I wonder if somebody got to Trump and told him to lay off?
Has Trump been silenced on this - or will he go off again on this?

Just a hunch on my part, but a fairly strong one.

(4,113 posts)Both families were part of the Carlyle Group. The group was meeting at the Ritz Carlton in D.C. while the 9/11 attacks were taking place. Wouldn't surprise me if Poppy and one of Osama's relatives were looking out the window during the meeting, seeing the plume of smoke from the Pentagon and thinking "CHING!!"

It was disclosed, for a while, then it was buried. Benghazi has gotten a thousand times the publicity..or maybe ten thousand times the coverage..

(3,586 posts)The Bush administration knew that passenger jets or remote-controlled aircraft could be used in a terror attack by al Qaeda, which was why Genoa was ringed with anti-aircraft missiles while the Chimp and other world leaders were in town. The link below provides all kinds of background information regarding Genoa and the run-up to 9/11. The Bush administration knew something was coming involving aircraft but did next to nothing to "keep us safe."

Did no one see anything wrong with that? There's a formal investigation and they allowed the President and VP to be interviewed jointly? Who does that?

Now, let's ask Dumbya about that and the Bin Ladin memo too.......................
May never happen, but brother Jeb is out there exposed as he selfishly awaits his turn at ultimate power. So, he don't get off. And Trump may not be intimidated...(yes, I said may )..time will tell, but..perhaps the media will take a shot at Jeb and see how that particular idiot answers. There will be plenty of opportunities to question Jeb, cause he will be out there for quite a while.....What do you think?
and here is the truth for me.. The media and the Republicans tried to destroy the Clintons. I remember the impeachment; we all do. They are trying to destroy Hillary....What about Junior and Jeb?. And 3000 people died...What about some tiny bit of fair reporting?..That is the rub, that is the anger and that is the reason we discuss this now.
Bill Clinton got a blow job, and paid dearly for it...Dumbya Bush gets a memo warning about an attack on the United States where I live and many here live and we care about this country...and Jeb says, "He kept us safe"...think about that for a moment..Isn't that worse than a blow job?..Shouldn't Jeb answer questions about the "memo" and his brother?..That is why we are so mad..these people have not answered one question about the "MEMO" and Jebs says..."He kept us safe" And the truth is 3000 people died. Oh, and Jeb does not answer the question or any questions about the "MEMO"..so he gets away without a real confrontation..

(55,745 posts)FBI Special Agent Colleen Rowley had asked if they could look in Minnesota flight student Zacharias Moussaoui's laptop in August 2001, seeing how instructors reported he wasn't interested in learning to fly, just to turn, a jumbo jet. FBI HQ answered that the civil rights of the foreign national must be protected, and not to open the computer.
I hope the public pressure builds a real head of steam. The memo would be among the least of their worries. The BFEE Police State may fall.

(33,688 posts)in public after the fact, and that he was 27 kinds of freaked out by what he knew. But he was always brushed aside, per the orders of those who own the media.
When a calm, collected pseudo-spook like Clarke admits that he was "running around with my hair on fire" for weeks before the attack yet no one paid any attention to him, that tells you that people at the top had ZERO interest in knowing anything. They were all playing Sergeant Schultz.
