As far as the republican party is concerned, it is Trump and Carson all the way. I guess their

strategy of aligning themselves with the tea party has really worked out well for them:

They still can't agree on a speaker, and supposedly Ryan is now considering it, but only if he doesn't have to be scrutinized by the tea party republicans in the house.

They have a backup plan though. Bloomberg reported today, if the republicans can't find a speaker, they will ask Boehner to continue until the end of the year.

Boy are they imploding. Couldn't happy to a nicer group of jerks
