I just killed a mosquito! And I did a double check on the calendar - yep, it's still late October!!

This was the 2nd one I've seen, this week. I've never seen them, this late in the year.

no frost here yet, and long range forecast doesn't show one until early December!

Apparently we haven't had ENOUGH very cold nights and cool days. And it's been dry, until today.

One could camp at mountain lakes in June without seeing one. Normally, you can't even try to camp there until August.
