Some Bronze plans, mandated to not be junk, replacing the useless junk plans of the bad old days, went to $75 dollars from $50 a month...is that your "50%" increase?

My side of the payment more than doubled. I couldn't afford insurance before, and now I have to choose to pay this or pay the fine I can't afford either. Awesome system. Be sure to thank your people for me.

How much is your current policy?
How much will the new one be?
Are you getting a tax credit to subsidize the cost?
Has your credit changed since last year? How much?

Without details, your claim of a 50% increase has no context to determine if it's a legitimate complaint.

Yes, single payer would be fantastic. I hope the ACA is a step on that path.

And on the News Hour tonight, they featured people who were being screwed by the program, and what the Obama Admin was doing to help. The answer: not a whole lot.

As posted further up, my premium is going from $220 to $340 per month. Even with the subsidy it will be more than 10% of my pretax income, and I have a disabled dependent.

We're being priced out of existence. That money will have to come out of our food and medicine budget unless I get a raise or a better job. Gotta love living on luck...

companies are allowed to sell primary healthcare insurance.

It is an essential part of the claims based business model to deny claims. That is how they make their money.

Premium based single payer is the only way to go
