(14,255 posts)1. I think that with rising costs of insurance and housing, and lowered wages, asking for more
from the current contributors may be a bit much. Also, taking more money out of the economy not such a great idea, either. Raising the cap is the best way to improve Social Security, IMO.

and rich donors will be butthurt about losing a few hundred dollars a year.
