Anonymous could just make names up. There's no way to prove whether or not this is legitimate. The outed members are just going to deny it.

Why shouldn't they have to play by the same rules? Carly Fiorina swears up and down that she's seen a video of brain harvesting by Planned Parenthood. Nobody seems able to produce this video for inspection, yet the popular media dutifully report Fiorina's claims as if they are true. Republicans in Congress have convened a committee and have called for hearings targeting Planned Parenthood on the basis of this non-existent video.

Why shouldn't Sen. Cornyn be tasked with responding to this Very Serious Allegation? Don't we want to be fair and balanced toward both sides?
