Red Cloud rejects white supremacist (NE)

A white supremacist’s plans to snatch up three dilapidated houses in Webster County have been thwarted.
Paul Craig Cobb bought tax liens on the properties at a sheriff’s sale in late September. He paid $125 for two properties in Red Cloud and $3,410 for one in Inavale. If the taxes remained unpaid, he could have .. taken possession.
But community members paid off the .. delinquent taxes and fees, plus .. unpaid taxes not yet considered delinquent ...
Cobb .. is on probation for .. a November 2013 incident ... He had moved to Leith .. with plans to start an all-white enclave. Cobb pleaded guilty in 2014 to .. felony terrorizing and .. menacing.
