It's not very nice to accuse your fellow DUers of being "all talk" simply because they haven't responded to your thread, but here's a kick for you (I got my heads up elsewhere).

I'm sorry, but I think I'll keep my involvement to real life action. Try to realize that a lot of us come to DU for news/opinions and not calls to action with not-so-subtle admonishments. We can handle that all on our own with the help of MoveOn, DFA etc.

I will just push harder on my end.

No admonishment would be needed if people showed interest in actually doing something.

... here in TX. Some posts resonate. Others do not and that isn't an indictment on your fellow posters or a cause for incorrect assumptions, but I have to comment on the anger that comes from some when their posts aren't paid attention to. As if they themselves are the only one out there. That's what I am addressing. Good luck in your endeavors.

ObamaTrade returns on Tuesday – Call Congress 202 224-3121 tell them Vote NO!

The House of Representatives will vote on Obamatrade – again! – on Tuesday. Call 202 224-3121 – tell Congress to vote NO!

John Boehner and Barack Obama are pushing H.R. 1314, that will give Obama the power he needs to enact Obamatrade, the secretive TransPacific Partnership.

In addition, H.R. 1314 will also raise taxes on small businesses to fund a wasteful welfare program for union members.

Tell your congressman to vote No on H.R. 1314 when it comes before Congress this week. A vote for H.R. 1314 is a vote for Obamatrade and a tax hike on small business.
