Alan DERSHOWITZ and Jeffrey TOOBIN, who have their own history of problems, said several months ago that Carnival CRUZ is very smart. DERSHOWITZ was his professor (for one class? or his mentoring prof or whatever). Who knows what they mean by smart as applied to him. Would it be: Recall/memory, being a wiz at the incredibly BORING mock trials that lawyers like so much, verbal hammering debate opponents into submission what, WHAT?! TRUMP considers himself attractive (to each his own), but even more incredibly Carnival CRUZ plasters his smarmy featured face in front of us like he really finds himself somehow swoon-worthy and irresistible. Not to mention his recitations of Doctor Seuss or whatever like hes so entertaining.
As for the conclusion here below, that hes done nothing for the state hes supposed to represent (he only represents himself, but Wingnuts dont care who their vessel is), that this needs to be publicized far and wide: Good luck with that; Molly IVINS warned everybody about Shrub and nobody listened.

Everyone Who Has Ever Worked With Ted Cruz Despises Him
By Katie Singh on December 3, 2015
As the Republican clown car of presidential candidates continues to merrily roll along, ....
But before we start preparing for a Cruz presidency and a subsequent move to Cruzs home country of Canada, ....
... people whove worked with him ... dislike him.
No, scratch that.
They loathe him. ....
... Cruzs freshman roommate ....
... the Bush campaign in 2000? ....
Why do people take such an instant dislike to Ted Cruz? It just saves time. ....
... None of his Congressional colleagues can stand him, ....
As Texans, we already know this hes done nothing at all for our state. It is up to us to publicize this at every turn until Cruz loses. The stakes are far too high for us to be complacent. We must share the fact that we know all too well with the rest of the nation that when you Cruz, you lose.

(108,978 posts)as saying that, instead of having Cruz elected President, he'd rather have someone chosen at random from the phone book.

(145,274 posts)The 2012 Texas primary was held in late May of 2012 due to the redistricting fight and the runoff was in the middle of summer on July 31. Cruz got into a runoff with David Dewhurst who turned out to be a weak campaigner. Dewhurst was later defeated in 2014 for Lt. Governor by that idiot Dan Patrick. The Democrats did not run a strong candidate, Paul Sadler, who was underfunded and a non-event. Cruz is supported by the Tea party in Texas and was crazy enough to win. There were no Sadler signs or campaign evident that year.
