(278 posts)Unfortunately, they are going to crucify you for telling the truth. Fox will spin this so blatantly that everyone who watches or listens to them will think you're crazy. That is what we have become.

(11,175 posts)Why would Fox even mention this? My guess is they'll ignore it completely.
They'll ignore Nader completely unless and until he indulges in his habit of denouncing Democrats. Then Fox might consider him worthy of coverage.

(11,175 posts)The obvious logical implication of what he's belatedly recognized is that he should support a candidate who has a realistic chance of defeating the Republican candidate. It's a virtual certainty that the only such candidate will be the Democratic nominee. It's also a virtual certainty that Nader will not be in complete agreement with the Democratic nominee on the issues. We'll see how far his new insight takes him.
By endorsing the Democrat next year, Nader will redeem about 1% of the damage he did to his own legacy in 2000. He gets an additional 1%, or maybe even 2%, if he now admits that he made a bad decision when he ran on the Green Party line that year, instead of in the Democratic primaries.
