O’Reilly Confronts Trump: You Keep Saying Things ‘You Don’t Know to Be True’

http://www.mediaite.com/tv/oreilly-confronts-trump-you-keep-saying-things-you-dont-know-to-be-true/

Bill O’Reilly confronted Donald Trump tonight over his 9/11 “cheering” claim after he fact-checked it and found insufficient evidence to back him up.

There was one local news report about individuals in New Jersey cheering that was flagged by authorities, but O’Reilly told Trump there’s nothing to bolster “thousands.” He told Trump that was “wrong,” but said of course celebrations did occur....

O’Reilly again told Trump it was only “some people, not thousands.” Trump said “you don’t know that,” and O’Reilly shot back, “I’m pretty confident.”

He then cut a little deeper and told Trump that because he goes off the cuff a lot in his speeches and gets “overly excited,” he will “say things… that you don’t know to be true, but you believe to be true.” He warned Trump that he has to be “pretty damn sure that it’s accurate” whenever he makes any claims.
