Was anyone else watching the Farook family lawyers CNN press conference. Did you catch what they

said about gun control? That these events always lead to more calls for gun control and that is unfair. Sounds like the are getting their advice from the GOP. I wasn't really watching. Can anyone confirm?

(Later) Thank you all. Here is a link along the same lines: http://www.rawstory.com/2015/12/attorney-for-sayed-farooks-family-floats-sandy-hook-truther-theories-to-question-san-bernadino-shootings/

I thought it was disgusting that he advocated for guns. There was no reason for him to go there. Also in general the tone was trite and flat though at the end they at least seem to acknowledge something had happened involving their clients.

Why is the woman so protected from questions? She is described by the lawyer as "nice" and "caring" yeah, right!

if they haven't already!

Note too that no journalist thought to ask about what Malik wrote on Facebook - is that not certain now? They kept saying that "someone looked at Facebook" was that deliberate obfuscation I wonder.

interwebs to start a conspiracy theory for their base that it didn't really happen so there should be no discussion of gun control. Also, the narrative of these events plays right into the question Democrats are asking right now that is "should people under suspicion enough to make it on to the no fly list still be able to buy assault weapons and pass a background check?". Don't know. But it was pure propaganda at that press conference. The Farook family is being used by the lawyer at the very least.

and yeah, David Chelsey sounded like a right-wing nutjob. The other lawyer, whose name I don't recall, sounded a bit more humane and rational.
