I have come to the conclusion America likes being scared.

Was in three clients houses today. Every single client had a 24 hour news channel on. Every single one was watching coverage of the shooting in San Bernadino that has been running, as far as I can tell, non stop since the shooting happened.

I get wanting to understand what happened but listening to pundit after pundit speculate on what happened with no actual knowledge and very little new information is just bizarre.

It is absurd that they have been covering nothing else for almost three days now, and more absurd that people are watching it. They wouldn't be doing this if the ratings weren't there for it. The only conclusion I can come to is that this country enjoys it. We don't just enjoy it we relish it we watch it for days on end. It's sick.

At one house today I caught some of the coverage of the media traipsing through the shooters house rifling through their possessions. WTF have we become?

Of course all of this is whipping the american public into a frenzy that will be used as an excuse to bomb more brown people and send more cash to the same people that own the TV news stations and also coincidentally own the munition factories that produce the weapons used to blow up the brown people they made us afraid of. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so frigging twisted and if the American people weren't such sheep that they fell for it every damn time.

Fear fear fear booga booga give me more!

Now he was trying to make a point, and most missed it, and at the same time like most people we do find it
"entertaining" in one way or another, being afraid, that is.

Personally I want to live long enough to see climate deniers suffer their denial.

They're just mentally ill individuals. After all they are real murrikuns that cling to the bible and wave the Confederate flag

I am not scared. Bad things happens. Always have, always will.

You can ban guns, planes, trains, knives, whatever. If someone wants to kill, they will.

We should all enjoy our lives as much as possible.

It's unlikely that we will die from a mass shooting or terrorist attack. It could happen, sure. But most likely it won't.
