(6,496 posts)and it said his parents were immigrants and janitors living in NYC, which means they were poor. You'd think he would have more sympathy for the poor and the middle class based on that, but maybe he struggled so much as a child he became bitter about it. He decided he was just going to look out for himself and screw everyone else, reciprocating the treatment he thought he got from the world as a child. Reminds me of the current governor of my state, Paul LePage, except this guy Shkreli is way worse and much smarter than LePage. In his circumstance, being smart isn't a good thing. It just serves to make him diabolical.
