Damning New Evidence Shows How Israel Bribed Republican Traitors To Sabotage Obama On Iran Deal

You probably can recall the huge diplomatic mess that Republicans made last year, by sending an “open letter” to Iran in an effort to sour President Obama’s negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program. The letter was a clear shot at the deal the White House had been working on since the very early days of President Obama’s time in office. Republicans attempted to frame any agreements Iran would make with Obama as “not guaranteed” to continue once he leaves office. This, in addition to the invitation of Benjamin Netanyahu to address Congress without the approval of the White House, put negotiations at a real risk. Many thought that it would push circumstances to where Israel would unilaterally conduct military strikes against Iran, which is a situation nobody wanted to see happen.

The reaction was fast and harsh by many in America, who saw it as an unprecedented move that bordered on outright treason by Republicans. It got so bad that even some Republicans who signed off on the letter were having second thoughts as to how bright of an idea it was.

Benjamin Netanyahu openly admitted to lobbying Congress for help to scuttle the deal. However, he never discussed direct contact that the Israeli government had with congressional members or the offers that were made to them. Now, with these new revelations, it shows damning evidence that this is exactly what Israel and Republicans did.

Scathing new reports, which were made possible from leaked NSA wiretapping, show how Israel communicated directly with members of Congress. It proves that Netanyahu and his cohorts were attempting to essentially bribe Republicans into sabotaging the diplomatic efforts of a sitting United States president. A U.S. intelligence official who was involved in managing the NSA intercepts said Israel’s communications with Republicans included such questions as: “How can we get your vote? What’s it going to take?” What further denial of treason can be made by either Republicans or Israel at this point?

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2016/01/01/damning-new-evidence-shows-how-israel-bribed-republican-traitors-to-sabotage-obama-on-iran-deal/

And these are the same repukes who call Democrats traitors.

If LBJ had prosecuted Nixon for what LBJ himself called "treason" we probably never would have heard of Reagan again.

But the same trick was used against Carter by the Reagan crew, lead by Poppy Bush, when they negotiated with Iran to hold the hostages until Reagan was in office.

21. The U-2 incident was allegedly used to sabotage Ike's overtures to Russia
Fri Jan 1, 2016, 01:38 PM
Jan 2016

I've seen this one argued both ways, so I wouldn't call it a proven fact. But it seems to be a matter of record that Eisenhower was hoping to put an end to the Cold War during his final year in office, that the shooting down of the U-2 put an end to whatever meeting or conference was planned with the Soviets, and that Eisenhower had been told the U-2 flights had already ended when they hadn't.

The part that's uncertain is whether the incident was deliberately provoked to sabotage the talks or whether it was just the spy boys trying to pull a fast one after they'd been told to knock it off and having things blow up in their faces. But either way, it's fairly likely that Nixon -- who as vice-president always knew more about the covert end of things than Eisenhower himself did -- took it as the template for what he pulled in 1968 with the Vietnamese.

WHen people (even Hartmann) talk about Republican Treason they tend to leave out the fact that Poppy was part of the Reagan Treason. Hell, as former head of the CIA Poppy probably orchestrated the whole thing. Reagan wasn't smart enough to come up with it or to execute it.

So that's
Nixon - Treason
Reagan - Treason
Bush I - Treason (Iran-Contra and Kuwait)
Bush II - Treason (2 illegal wars and destroying democracy in 2000/2004)

That leaves Ford . As part of the JFK Assignation cover-up cabal I'd say HE committed treason too.

I ran a short lived congressional campaign in 2004 (No money). In 2006, another person called and asked if I was going to run again, as he was thinking about running. I said no I wasn't and feel free to do so. He then asked if I could help and support him, and I said I'd consider it. So, he sent me his resume.

He was a little too conservative for my tastes, but when I got to the part where he had interned at AIPAC, I told him that was a deal killer.

He was running a half decent campaign until 6 months later Rahm Emmanuel stabbed him in the back. He didn't even know it until another candidate showed up at the state Dem convention, with a couple of staffers supplied by the DCCC.

Fri Jan 1, 2016, 01:50 PM
Jan 2016

If bribery (er, campaign contributions) don't work, there is always dirty tricks. In '12, the head of the county Obama Democratic campaign committee (the son of a famous, long-serving progressive Democratic VA Congressman) was stung by a "GOP" operative.

Someone walked into the campaign office and the campaign chairman humored him for a few minutes while the shady character pitched a vaguely shady voter registration scheme. The shady character was wearing a hidden camera and turned out to working for Project Veritas, the James O’Keefe-led organization whose other undercover videos fed the GOP attack on ACORN.

AIPAC and the GOP had been trying for decades to unseat the Congressman. He said in 2007 that AIPAC is “the most powerful lobby” that pushed for the Iraq War “since the beginning,” the Washington Post reported. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/09/14/AR2007091402171.html

“I don’t think they represent the mainstream of American Jewish thinking at all, but because they are so well organized,” the Congressman said about AIPAC. “And their members are extraordinarily powerful—most of them are quite wealthy—they have been able to exert power.”

Long ago I was pro-Israel. After the USS Liberty and Jonathon Pollard - no more. Eff them. Israel wants us to fight their dirty wars for them and refuse to do anything about coming to terms with the Palestinians. Bribing American legislators? I don't doubt it for a second, and doubt that this is the first time.

Now reading Quicksand: America's Pursuit of Power in the Middle East by Geoffrey Wawro. Much better than I thought it would be. There are sections in there where Truman, Ike, Kennedy, Johnson, are all told by the middle east states that the problem is, first, Israel, that our one-sided view of Israel-can-do-no-wrong philosophy is the major problem. Truman is told by King Faisal - effing Faisal! - if you continue to support Israel I can't help you. And by this time, we had known all about peak-oil in the U.S. for a couple of years.

The defense science board asked after 9/11 "Why do they hate us?", unlike Rush Limbaugh they laid it on the line:

"Muslims do not “hate our freedom”, but rather they hate our policies. The overwhelming majority voice their objections to what they see as one-sided support in favor of Israel and against Palestinian rights...."

Pretty clear.

Every nation in the middle east has said that very thing. And we continue not to hear. We continue to look the other way as we spend billions on Israel. And the frustration builds, and builds. To the point they react with kidnappings, hijacking aircraft and ocean liners, murder, attacks on American companies, and now terrorism on a world-wide scale.

We are so stu-pud.

Sat Jan 2, 2016, 12:10 PM
Jan 2016
http://www.thenation.com/article/spy-story-harman-saban-and-aipac/

Contrary to reports that the Harman investigation was dropped for “lack of evidence,” it was Alberto R. Gonzales, President Bush’s top counsel and then attorney general, who intervened to stop the Harman probe.

Why? Because, according to three top former national security officials, Gonzales wanted Harman to be able to help defend the administration’s warrantless wiretapping program, which was about break in The New York Times and engulf the White House.

Who was Harman talking to when she was caught on tape by the NSA? Stein says she was speaking to a suspected “Israeli agent.” The Jewish Telegraph Agency suggests — as did earlier reports, in 2006, when the story first broke — that the person lobbying Harman to intervene in the AIPAC case was Haim Saban, a top Democratic fundraiser:

Similar reports surfaced in October 2006, just prior to the midterm elections. Those reports named the Israeli “agent” as Haim Saban, the Israeli-American entertainment magnate who is a major donor to the Democratic Party and to AIPAC.

Haim Saban is one of Hillary Clinton's biggest campaign contributors.

The purpose of the United States is to aid ISRAEL The Discretionary spending of the US Government is 1.1 trillion dollars. Of that one trillion ought to be AID TO ISRAEL. Every American MUST be willing to DIE FOR ISRAEL. Anything less is ANTI SEMITIC. Clean out your bank accounts, max out your credit cards and send the MONEY TO ISRAEL.

Israel is not our friend. It is time to end all aid to Israel. It is time to close down AIPAC or make its members register as foreign agents. TAKE ISRAEL OFF WELFARE.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is one of the most polarizing political leaders on the world stage. His hardline politics on Iran and Israeli-Palestinian affairs have won him both intense support and bitter criticism at home and abroad — all the more so after his dramatic attempt in March to derail President Barack Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran in front of the U.S. Congress. With new waves of violence between Israelis and Palestinians unfolding and Israel-U.S. relations already emerging as a 2016 campaign issue, FRONTLINE presents Netanyahu at War -- an epic, two-hour documentary from veteran filmmaker Michael Kirk tracing Netanyahu’s path to power, his combative relationships with multiple U.S. presidents and the implications in America and the Middle East. Netanyahu at War premieres Tues., Jan. 5, 2016 at a special time -- 9 p.m. EST/8 p.m. CST -- on PBS and online.

This should help us in our fight for Publicly Funded Elections! On what planet would we believe that giving large donations to re-election campaigns does not result in a payback of some sort? We have seen the Princeton study, we have seen the Jack Abramoff debacle with Hot Tub Tom Delay.

I hope they find direct evidence of treason with these bastards because I know it is going on. They have become too comfortable selling out to anyone with campaign money.
