Joe Oshaugnessy outside a motel in Burns, Oregon
But his friends tearfully announced that Oshaugnessy, who is known as Capt. O, had left the refuge Wednesday and was instead staying at a motel nearby as some others associated with the militants have apparently been doing, according to sources.
Some of the militants have reportedly been spotted eating at area restaurants during the standoff, as well.
A Yall Qaeda spokesperson said he drank away the donations:

Another militant, Cai Irvin, tearfully announced Oshaungnessys departure in a Facebook video.
Ritzheimer did call me hes f*cking pissed, hes mad, hes upset, Irvin said. He told me to tell all of you that Joe Oshaugnessy is a deserter and a coward.
Irvin said the militants felt betrayed by Oshaugnessy, who had taken part like many of them in the 2014 standoff at the Bundy ranch where various factions within the right-wing patriot movement also squabbled.
Its like finding out there is no such thing as Santa, Irvin said. Come on, man.
Irvin later removed the Facebook video from his public profile page.

The lyrics to the songbird's melodious trill go something like this:
"Stay out of my territory or I'll PECK YOUR GODDAMNED EYES OUT!"
(86,600 posts)that what we are seeing at this point serves the public interest/good in that by allowing these guys to spend time under what could be deemed duress, they fall apart rather quickly. Because we have a small gang of unstable individuals, they are in a remote place in case stupid happens and bullets fly...
But the benefit is to let them discredit themselves as phony and unstable. Doesn't seem like anyone will back them other than those who couldn't get there last Saturday and there aren't many of them. To let them show what they really are after the first exciting days of fanfare, when "the bloom is off the rose" is where the public can see them and those who think they deserve some respect are starting to see what lies beneath... only to find they are deranged and dimwitted people with gunz being stupid on the national stage. This is a catastrophuck for them more than it is for anyone else.
It appears, to me, that waiting them out even following the Bunkerville situation was the grand plan for the government. The Nevada scene involved private land and made it unseemly to deal with these folks at that location. Waiting for them to feel emboldened enough to initiate this event also made for more serious charges to hold them on. I do expect that they will be rounded up and tried... it seems to be the "rounding up" part that is taking too long for many of us. I will chalk that up to teevee conditioning where instant results are expected in real life due to such expectations finding consistent gratification in the entertainment world and time spent engaged in the entertainment world compared to the actual real world off screen.
I'm willing to be patient.
