The Bundys in Oregon "sleepover" has escalated

Why is the power still in to the building?
This is what happens when laws are not enforced.

Bundy militia standoff escalates when another heavily-armed group arrives to provide ‘security’

There may be more drama afoot at the Bundy militia standoff at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.

In a moment of irony, a new group of armed miltiamen has arrived at the standoff in Harney County, Oregon, and the ones that have been there since last Saturday say their presence is unwanted.

Plenty of white kids have been maced at point blank range on campus. Plenty of white people were clobbered in OWS.

Its because those in Oregon are right-wingers. The state apparatus exists to stifle left-wing activity only. Right-wing protest gets a pass.

Sat Jan 9, 2016, 09:30 PM
Jan 2016

Polls show most people aren't even aware they are there which is not what they wanted at all. The locals are starting to get more and more pissed off and eventually they will ask the Feds to intervene giving the Feds much better position to intervene without pissing off every militia group in the country and possibly giving us another situation like we saw in Oklahoma City when the Federal building was blown up. These militia groups are just a nuisance now but if we get another Waco or Ruby Ridge then we could see real shit popping up all over the country.

Give it some time and watch the local ranchers anger grow to where that is the main story, then the Feds will be in a much better position to do something without blowback.

And law enforcement and the feds are intimidated by what these nut jobs might do if they treat the Bundy clan badly.

I remember the same excuses when it was the Bundy ranch standoff...and we were told that they would not get away with it and in time justice would be done...well it was not, and here we are again.

because the Feds have been letting them do what they want. The Polls show the feds are getting good reviews on this but everyone knows the longer they stay the less welcome they are. We go in full force now and it would be a major PR disaster for Obama. You think Waco was bad? Multiply that by 100! The FBI knows things need to fester a lot more between the locals and the idiots before the Feds have the American people behind them to go in with force. I wish it were different but it's not. If Trump were President he could probably get away with going in with Force but Dems don't have that luxury.

If they wanted to win this the first thing they would have done is cut the power off and block all the access. And they would not have sent out a delegation to shake their hands and offer them free passage out.

If they had cut the power off they would be out of there by now...cold and hunger would make them think about staying.

No they want this to continue because the PTB want that public land and the Bundy Boys will help them get it.
And they don't give a shit about the polls...in fact they want it to be in our faces.
What can we do about it?...nothing but what a co dependent to an abuser does...make excuses for them.

They are heavily armed and looking for a stand off. Leaving them to run amok to in-fight and generally come across as embarrassing dumb-asses open to massive public disdain and ridicule has been largely successful.

Don't get me wrong. I hope they actually make arrests this time, once they all leave, dejected and divided. It was a mistake not to arrest the morons in 2014 after they broke camp.

Once they leave the arrests will not require an assault. Hopefully, instead of it being another Rallying cry, it will go down as a laughingstock.

That said, I can't believe there were no arrests in 2014 (that I am aware of), and it worries me that none will be made this time, either. I remain hopeful.

The only "converts" action against these guys create are folks who already sympathize with the cause.

The time for kid gloves has come and gone. In fact the time for kid gloves came and went at the Bundy ranch.

It's beautiful you have all the time in the world to wait out insurrectionists but my patience has worn thin along with the patience of others. Everyday we let them keep on keeping on is another victory for them and another spit in the face of those who were brutally put down while protesting for real causes.

Worse still is it's the government hawking it.

Every face pepper sprayed while clearing OWS encampments. . . . HAAAAAAAWK. . .Ptttft

Every skull cracked while putting down a BLM protest. . . . HAAAAAAAWK. . .Ptttft

Every activist trussed like a turkey while protesting polluters. . . . HAAAAAAAWK. . .Ptttft

Every antiwar protester's head smashed into pavement. . . . HAAAAAAAWK. . .Ptttft

The government doesn't look altruistic, it looks weak. Guess what happens to someone who shows weakness to bullies? They get their asses handed to them OVER and OVER again until they finally fight back.

Honestly I don't believe for a second that government will do jack to these wackos. No arrests, no trials, no raids. Bupkis. The government will back off like nothing ever happened, let 'em divvy up the land and people like you will cheer. While you're cheering our (the American people's) totally bloodless ass kicking and tail tucking they're busy figuring out which place they want to take next. And the one after that. And the one after that.

43. OR Militia Standoff Surrounded By Heavily Armed Pacific Patriot Network — Ammon Bundy ‘Blindsided'
Sun Jan 10, 2016, 12:26 AM
Jan 2016
January 9, 2016
Patrick Frye

The Oregon militia standoff continues to this day, with Ammon Bundy’s group continuing to occupy parts of Malheur National Wildlife Refuge and the Harney County Courthouse. Without warning, heavily armed members of the Pacific Patriot Network surrounded the encampments with their convoys. The Pacific Patriot Network is an umbrella group for Oregon militias, and they say they have set themselves between the Bundy Randy group and the U.S. federal government’s agents in order to work out a peaceful resolution to the Oregon standoff.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, Bundy’s Oregon militia initially told reporters they had enough food and supplies to carry on the standoff for years, but they are now saying they are willing to accept donations in order to help them.

...

Now, the other Oregon militia groups are directly intervening in Ammon Bundy’s standoff. A convoy of heavily armed men surrounded the federal courthouse and also sent more men to the wildlife refuge. The Pacific Patriot Network said they were going to act as a “neutral party,” but they also brought many men armed with rifles.

...

“Ammon felt blindsided,” Macfarlane said. “This was not a welcome development. We are trying to de-escalate here – then boom, they all show up.”
