Yeah, the last time microsoft made a good browser was never. I'll stick with firefox.

to use it regularly. Pretty much everyone who knows stuff says it's a work in progress.

I have Firefox, Opera, and Pale Moon open all the time, and each has its own issues, so, given a choice, I use the one that best matches whatever site I'm looking at.

I suspect the problem is not so much the browsers, but the damnably complex web pages so many people love to create. Not only do they have to include whizz-bang effects we don't need, but they have to report back to their masters everything they can about us. I don't use Chrome because Google adds its own "legal" spyware to the stuff already out there.

Edge was just not ready. It was barely a beta. Maybe in 6 mos or a year it will be a good browser, but not now.

time Microsoft has released something before its time. VISTA and Windows 8, are the obvious missteps, and Windows 7 and Windows 10 respectively corrected those issues.
